This past weekend I participated in the Providence Bridge Pedal, in Portland, Oregon, with both of my sons. This is an interesting event because they close the top deck of both interstate highways over the Willamette river which bisects Portland.

I was particularly excited about this year’s ride because I had an Ubuntu cycling jersey to wear.

Ubunt Cycling Jersey

Thanks to Trey Ethridge for getting these created.

That would be a nice jersey to have with all of the riding and racing I do. A complete kit would be awesome, though I do need to at least wear the bottoms to my racing team’s kit though. Looks good! Gimme a Kubuntu one to rock :p

Thanks for the shout out Brian! :-)

I just wanted to respond to the comments on this post. I’ve spoken with some of the folks at Canonical and last I heard they are working to get cycling kits on the Ubuntu Store. I’m not sure of the planned time-line though.

Trey – Do you have any plans for a 2nd order of these in the meantime? If so let me know!
