Hey nico,

I tried the network on Windows and I cannot get more than 72 MB, the same on Ubuntu. Maybe is a problem with my internet contection. But for me 72 MB is more than enought of what I need.

On the other hand check this forum: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/broadcom-4313-80211-bgn-adapter-connecting-at-g/2356bc8f-8cb6-43d5-927f-a0a9198d0368 seems that not even in windows you can get more that 65 or 72 MB.

Maybe one day Broadcom would realease better drivers.

Hej.

You did not mention anything about the network adapter. It is a Gigabit card, under windows it works really like a Gb card, but under Ubuntu Maverick, it works like a 100Mb card.
Do you encounter the problem as well ?

By the way, did anybody tried the Catalyst ATI driver (11.4 or 11.5) in this computer? It seems on that supports the hybrid cards.

@Clueless wonder

I think you have ubuntu 11.04 and is a problem with the driver of the Wireless BCM4313. Check: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1750283

Install the latest property driver through the additional driver program. And if it still gives you trouble download the latest driver:

Hello all.
I don't know much about my tm2 just that I enjoy using it for my graphic projects. However when I turned it on today nothing came up on the screen, it may be over heated, but it has also been having alot of random shutdowns when I'm online. Just wondering is there anything that will prevent this.

Hello !
Answer to Nik : try the virtual keyboard "cellwriter". It has 2 modes : a Keyboard, and a handwritting recognition. It's maybe not as performant as Windows' one but it work very well.

I also installed ubuntu 10.10 on a tm2-2150. I have also the problems listed above (and quite sucking...) :
* Trackpad : no right-click available, and no multitouch
* Blank screen sometimes after boot, or after sleep.

I will try this evening to downgrade to 10.04, since i have the feeling, that people have less problems with the trackpad under 10.04. I will let youknow.

Just installed ubuntu 10.10 and it's all very nice (couldn't cope with Windows 7's dynamic disk partitioning so ended up throwing that out which is a shame since I wanted dual boot). Wacom pen works fine so they must have listened to your bug report :-)

One thing that's missing is a virtual keyboard - on windows if you press any input field it pops up a icon which will bring up a virtual keyboard if pressed - know of anything similar on Linux?
