		<description>Launchpad provides a rather nice API for doing things like finding attachments to a bug report, downloading and searching their contents.  Additionally, ubuntu-dev-tools contains a tool called grab-attachments which will download attachments for a specific bug or all the bugs about a package so that you can have them on your system and search them that way.</description>

		<description>LP should indeed revamp the search facilities. Google does a good job but hides the full bug title. 

One feature I'd like to see is searching text inside attachments. It would be helpful for hardware bugs to be able to find bugs which contain a PCI/USB ID either in the bug title, description, comments and attachments. I'm not sure udd can help with that...</description>
